 | 2009The year 2009 I was at home for only 3 months therefore I feel sad for not being able to share time with my family however it is also part of live people need to spread there wings and discover there own interests. Looking back at 2009 it was a year of difficult decision but I am glad I decided in the way I did. First of all I decided to travel for 3 months in Asia instead of taking classes at my university in Holland. The second I decided to go Korea instead of Japan for university exchange which causes me also a nervous breakdown.

| |  | 2009 - Asia explorationThis was a truly wonderful trip to Asia, not my my first trip but the first time to travel for such a long time on my own making lots of new friends and enjoy the freedom of traveling without a time limit exploring my favorite continent. I started my trip in my favorite city in Asia, Hong Kong and from there I left for Taiwan soon after I entered China as my Chinese visa would have expired before entering. My pictures are sorted by date and should give you some impression of my adventures however if you want to know more just ask me and I would be glad to tell you more. |

| |  | 2008 - South East AsiaAsia is my love and my live, it sounds silly to say this myself however it is true I enjoy Asia by each time I stay a bit more. To me Asia is a intriguing continent with a great diversity, numerous of cultures and a great heritage of natural and monumental sights. Europe offers more or less the same however it is still Westernized although there are differences they are less present with one exception Eastern Europe!
It was great vacation together with my cousin who you'll see in some of the photos containing this album it was crazy vacation covering over 5 countries within a timespan of 6 weeks. |

| |  | 2008The 1st of January I woke up in Prague the capital city of the Czech Republic, the night before I celebrated New Year in Prague together with my Chinese friend and in particular Angela who's a lovely girl who joined me on my winter trip through Europe taking me to various cities such a Berlin, Prague and Vienna. Other picture highlights of that year were the yearly flower parade in my village and my summer vacation in South East Asia. |

| |  | 2007 - ChinaI discovered that other countries in Asia besides Japan are also worth visiting! Japan is a wonderful country but other countries are worth visiting too! It was a very intriguing experience to visit China together with my best friend Maarten. This was of course not my first experience traveling in Asia but for sure one of the most inspiring vacations! It was interesting to see that China is different in every aspect from Japan. The country is more diverse and brings a much wider variety of culture and food. Traveling from city to city in China gives you a basic impression of China however by the time of writing this text I can tell that cities aren't the best China has to offer, visit the countryside and enjoy the nature and don't be afraid to get one of those lost in translation experiences I've have encountered those numerous times. |
